The training, which was held at ARUBA Hotel at Gyankama near Kitase via Aburi in the Eastern Region of Ghana, from the 17th to 20th of November, 2025, brought together Civil Society Organizations, Government Agencies and UN Agencies to deepen their knowledge and practical skills in key child protection thematic areas.
Participants received hands-on training in:
- -Child Labour (tools, activities and community games)
- -Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) and Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE)
- -Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA)
- -Men & Boys’ Engagement
- -Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
- -Positive Parenting Module
The sessions were highly interactive, combining presentations, group work, tool practice, demonstrations, and games, all aimed at strengthening CSOs’ capacity to deliver quality child protection services.
Participants were also introduced to the CP Toolkit Minimum Package, SOPs, and the Monitoring & Reporting App, enhancing their ability to document and respond to child protection concerns effectively.
Together, we continue to build safer, supportive, and resilient environments for children across our communities.
